With Black Friday upon us I wanted to make a gear list of items you might want to check out during the holiday sales. I highly recommend you do some research before purchasing and whenever possible, try out a specific item beforehand. I have called and talked with customer service for every one of my major OCF purchases and they have been very helpful.
For those on a budget or not quite ready to invest heavily into OCF this first kit is an affordable place to start that will also let you grow when needed.
The Bare Bones OCF Kit:
Yongnuo Flash and Flash Controller. I have never used this brand but I do have friends that have used it and recommended it. Do your research to make sure it will work for your camera. The flash and controller are around $100 together.
I really like the Godox/Flashpoint brand and for a bit more you could try the Flashpoint Zoom Li-on R2Modifier with the Flashpoint R2 Pro transmitter.
