I think Dustin may lose his place as my second shooter…
Some of Gavin’s work thus far. I think it has a very avant-garde feel with just a bit of neo-expressionism…
Not bad for a three year old.
And look, a picture of me! Our household has the common problem of Missing-Mom-Sydrome, as I am usually the one taking the majority of our pictures. Problem solved by my new over-eager under study!
Finally, I will have pictures of myself with at least one of the kids! In all honesty though, it made me very happy to see him so excited about finally being able to take pictures. I hope it becomes a passion for him just like it is for me!

This is too cute. I love the one with the trees. It’s nice to see your face once in a while too!
I don’t even know how many times I have looked at this blog post! #1: how does he keep getting cuter? And older? #2: He takes better pictures than I do with your camera. For instance, I am particularly impressed with how your’s and Ada’s faces are in focus, instead of the wall behind you… I may be an unparalleled reflector holder, but camera focus eludes me. #3: I really like the picture of you and Ada, even outside the marvel of the focus
I think that it is absolutely fantastic that Gavin has a creative eye and wants to follow in Mommy’s footsteps. I really enjoyed the pic of you and Addy. Angie
1. your children are absolutely adorable!
2. you are a better mom than me, i won’t even let Eli look in the direction of my camera
3. you are an awesome writer!
hope life is treating you well out in Texas!!
